My name is Jens Burkhardt‐Plückhahn.
I am using this approach to search for my biological father, Major Rosenberg.
My biological mother met him in February 1966 at a celebration of the anniversary
of the Soviet Armed Forces in the House of German‐Soviet Friendship in Schwerin (Mecklenburg,
formerly the district of Schwerin). His traces disappear in Schwerin from the early 1970s onward. No
information can be provided about his military unit.
Based on a genetic analysis, it can be assumed that his family most likely has Baltic or Ukrainian
origins. Culturally, a Jewish background is possible.
